I am a German photographer based in Munich. My passion for capturing authentic moments began in 1968 with an Agfa Optima 200. Inspired by my father, I acquired my first semi-professional Nikon gear during my university years, solidifying my dedication to photography.

As early as 1998 I ventured into digital photography, consistently upgrading my equipment within my financial means to match my artistic ambitions. Since 2022, I have been using Leica, reflecting my commitment to quality and precision.

Specializing in nature, people, and architecture, my unstaged photography highlights life’s incidental beauty. I draw inspiration from diverse cultures, unique locations, and contrasts that create visual tension, producing images that evoke curiosity and emotion. My work intends viewers to see the world with fresh eyes, blending moments of simplicity and splendor to tell compelling stories.
